The Grit Difference

We don't cut corners. We simply build the best Class B camper vans for sale in Washington, without compromise.

Experience the Grit Difference in a Generational Link 148

Our Philosophy

We have created a Generational RV that will last a lifetime!

Getting stuck deep in the Hoh Rain Forest or stranded along a remote Cascade pass can turn a dream trip into a nightmare. A well-built rig opens the door to every corner of Washington, from coastal beaches to the high desert east of the mountains. This Class B camper van for Washington travelers keeps you rolling, helping families build lasting memories across the state’s dramatic terrain. Push past the pavement with full confidence behind the wheel.

Less durable vans can break down and leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere. The Link 148 matches the industrial backbone of its Ford chassis, delivering the toughness explorers in Washington demand from a camper van built to last decades. This rig goes far beyond a basic utility vehicle. Adventure seekers in Washington consider our Class B RV a serious legacy investment made for endless discovery.

Trendy social media gimmicks fade fast, and we refuse to chase trends. Washington travelers need Class B RVs that perform when sideways rain pounds the Olympic Peninsula or when summer heat bakes the shrub-steppe near the Columbia River. At Grit Overland, we engineer the most reliable Class B camper vans Washington adventurers count on for freedom in the wildest places.

MADE IN THE USA

Skilled local craftsmen hand-build every custom adventure rig right here in the Pacific Northwest. The Link 148 carries the soul of the region, using materials sourced from Washington and Oregon whenever supply chains allow. Choosing this path keeps manufacturing sustainable and pumps strength back into our regional economy through trusted local partnerships.

We Build Our Vans to Last a Lifetime

Rocky logging roads, salty coastal air, and Cascade snowstorms wear out cheaper rigs in just a few seasons. Travelers in Washington need an AWD camper van that stands up to brutal conditions year after year. The Link 148 earns its name as a true generational RV, passing every durability test thrown at it. Flimsy wood cabinets and parts that constantly fail will never show up in our builds. Heavy-duty materials and advanced sound-dampening keep every mile quieter and more dependable.

Your Washington expeditions should center on the thrill of the trail rather than mechanical troubleshooting.

Photogenic vans designed for social media likes often fall apart on the first rough trail. Grit Overland puts functional engineering ahead of looks, delivering the exact Class B camper van Washington conditions demand. Three core values guide every build: durability, ruggedness, and reliability.

Families across the Pacific Northwest and Washington treat the Link 148 AWD camper van as an heirloom worth passing down. Precision-welded aluminum and bolted connections keep the interior quiet no matter how wild the road gets. Off-grid living comes standard, complete with a fully integrated bathroom and other thoughtful comforts. This rig stays rugged through decades, so the journeys you take today become the adventures your kids will take tomorrow.

Safety & Certifications

Meets FMVSS (“Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards”) rating for the United States.

All Grit Overland Van Models are inspected, certified & receive a serial number.  (Our manufacturing exceeds all fire safety, electrical & plumbing industry standards.)

UV-Stabilized Marine Board

  • Stands up to the elements without absorbing moisture.
  • Doesn’t require edge band finishing or coatings to seal it & make it look good. (These are 2 major points of failure we totally avoid).

Top-Of-The-Line Vinyl Flooring

We’ve tested dozens of flooring materials & this is the best we’ve found thus far.

The flooring material is only half of the durability equation. We also consider the compatible methods for adhering it.

  • Will it stay adhered under extreme conditions? (Like: cold, heat, direct sunlight).
  • What does it look like after heavy use? (Scratched, dented, under heavy items, after wet items, etc.)

Marine-Grade Upholstery Material

Even our upholstery includes a water proof layer, to prevent moisture from penetrating into the underlying substrate.

Lighter Panel Material

Because our framing creates the needed structural support, we can use lighter panel material in many places.

Locally Sourced & Sustainable Materials

We locally source panels made from 100% plantation and sustainable wood sources that contain no tropical species.

Go Farther & Stay Longer

The Best Off-Road Experience

Scraping a low-hanging tank on a forest service road can end a trip before it begins. Our smart undercarriage layout tucks components like gray water tanks high and tight for serious clearance. Method Race wheels paired with winter-rated BFG KO2 all-terrain tires let Washington drivers tackle muddy backroads and snowy mountain passes without hesitation.

From the rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula to the rugged North Cascades, aka The American Alps, our rigs go past where the pavement ends. Grit Overland delivers the AWD camper van Washington explorers choose as their long-term basecamp. Off-road capability runs deep in every Link 148, ready for the state’s coastlines, alpine valleys, and high desert backcountry.
