The Grit Difference

We don't cut corners. We simply build the best Class B camper vans for sale without compromise.

Experience the Grit Difference in a Generational Link 148

Our Philosophy

Built for decades of travel, the Link 148 is a generational RV you can hand down to your kids and grandkids. The Link 148 San Francisco AWD camper van with four wheel drive is for travelers who want reliability, not constant repair shop visits. From the Wasatch to Red Rock Country, it keeps you rolling so the trip never gets cut short. More than transportation, it’s your basecamp for family memories across the varied San Francisco terrain. Explore with confidence, not concerns. For shoppers comparing San Francisco Class B RVs, the Link 148 offers real-world durability without gimmicks. When winter hits Little Cottonwood Canyon or wind kicks up on the Great Salt Lake, function matters. Our focus is simple: dependable engineering that supports off-grid freedom in a San Francisco camper.

MADE IN THE USA

We build our camper vans in the Pacific Northwest with a crew that shows up daily to deliver a product we back. Materials are sourced locally whenever possible, supporting businesses throughout San Francisco while reducing transport waste and strengthening regional supply chains.

We Build Our Vans to Last a Lifetime

Navigating the San Francisco terrain demands strength. The Link 148 meets the challenge with solid construction, quiet interiors, and zero fragile cabinetry. Skip the squeaks and rattles and enjoy the drive. Whether you’re crossing high desert or climbing alpine routes in a four-wheel-drive convoy, your AWD camper van in San Francisco should be tough, simple to maintain, and ready for years of use. Precision-welded aluminum frames and bolted joints with threaded inserts set the foundation. Add an integrated bathroom, and you’ve got a San Francisco Class B RV designed to serve for generations.

Safety & Certifications

Meets FMVSS (“Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards”) rating for the United States.

All Grit Overland Van Models are inspected, certified & receive a serial number.  (Our manufacturing exceeds all fire safety, electrical & plumbing industry standards.)

UV-Stabilized Marine Board

  • Stands up to the elements without absorbing moisture.
  • Doesn’t require edge band finishing or coatings to seal it & make it look good. (These are 2 major points of failure we totally avoid).

Top-Of-The-Line Vinyl Flooring

We’ve tested dozens of flooring materials & this is the best we’ve found thus far.

The flooring material is only half of the durability equation. We also consider the compatible methods for adhering it.

  • Will it stay adhered under extreme conditions? (Like: cold, heat, direct sunlight).
  • What does it look like after heavy use? (Scratched, dented, under heavy items, after wet items, etc.)

Marine-Grade Upholstery Material

Even our upholstery includes a water proof layer, to prevent moisture from penetrating into the underlying substrate.

Lighter Panel Material

Because our framing creates the needed structural support, we can use lighter panel material in many places.

Locally Sourced & Sustainable Materials

We locally source panels made from 100% plantation and sustainable wood sources that contain no tropical species.

Go Farther & Stay Longer

The Best Off-Road Experience

For drivers comparing San Francisco Class B RVs, the Link 148 delivers confident handling where pavement ends. Take your San Francisco AWD camper van with four wheel drive to the Uintas, San Rafael Swell, or the Mirror Lake Highway. This platform is built for the route less traveled.
