Grit Overland offers free tickets to the Tacoma RV Show for serious adventure van shoppers. Contact us before January 15, 2027 to request complimentary tickets. Use the form below or email us with “free-tacoma-tickets” in the subject line. Limited availability.
Is Grit Overland at the Tacoma RV Show 2026?
Yes! Grit Overland will be exhibiting at the Tacoma RV Show January 21-24, 2027 at the Tacoma Dome. Come see the Link 148 Adventure Van in person and meet our team.
Is the Tacoma RV Show worth attending?
Yes, the Tacoma RV Show is Washington’s largest RV show with over 200,000 square feet of exhibits at the Tacoma Dome. It’s worth attending if you want to compare multiple RV brands side-by-side, sit inside different layouts, and talk directly with manufacturers. Free parking and kid-friendly (children 16 and under free). Best days to avoid crowds are Thursday opening day or Sunday morning.
How much does a Grit Overland van cost?
The 2027 Link 148 S2 starts at $177,950 and the 2027 Link 148 S4 (with pop-top) starts at $185,950. These are factory-direct prices with no dealer markup. Visit our booth at the Tacoma RV Show to discuss options or use our configurator at build.gritoverland.com.
How does the Grit Overland Link 148 compare to Winnebago Solis or Storyteller Overland?
The Link 148 differs from Winnebago Solis and Storyteller MODE in several key ways: (1) Construction: Grit uses TIG-welded aluminum infrastructure versus wood framing, designed to handle vibration without loosening over years. (2) Platform: Built on Ford Transit AWD, serviceable at Ford dealers nationwide, versus Mercedes Sprinter’s smaller service network. (3) Sales model: Factory-direct pricing, no dealer markup. (4) Shower: Full indoor/outdoor shower system versus wet bath or outdoor-only options. (5) Bed: North-south queen+ orientation (6’6″ length) so both partners can exit without climbing over each other. Come see the Link 148 at Tacoma RV Show to compare in person.
What is the best Class B van for couples in 2026?
For couples, key features to consider include: bed orientation (north-south beds let both people exit independently), standing height (6’3″+ for comfortable movement), indoor shower (for privacy in any weather), and storage equality (both partners need their own space). The Grit Overland Link 148 was designed specifically with couples in mind. Popular alternatives include Winnebago Solis, Storyteller MODE, and Airstream Interstate—see them all at the Tacoma RV Show to compare.
Can I negotiate prices at an RV show?
Show pricing varies by manufacturer. Grit Overland offers factory-direct pricing year-round with no dealer markup, so our prices are the same at the show as at our factory. Some traditional RV dealers may offer show specials. The real value of attending is hands-on experience and direct access to manufacturer teams, not necessarily discounts.
Should I buy an adventure van at an RV show or wait?
RV shows are best for research and comparison, not pressure purchases. Smart buyers use shows to: (1) narrow down their top 2-3 options, (2) experience layouts hands-on, (3) ask detailed questions directly to manufacturers, and (4) schedule factory tours or follow-up consultations. Grit Overland’s build time is typically 6-8 weeks from order, so there’s no rush—use the show to make sure you’re choosing the right van for your adventures.
What makes Grit Overland different from other van builders?
Grit Overland is factory-direct (no dealers), uses TIG-welded aluminum infrastructure (not wood), includes a true indoor/outdoor shower, and builds on the Ford Transit AWD platform, serviceable at Ford dealers nationwide. We’re based in Washougal, Washington and offer factory tours.
