About Grit Overland Adventure Vans

Grit Overland builds factory-direct adventure vans in Washougal, Washington, approximately 30 minutes from Portland and 3 hours from Seattle. Unlike traditional RV dealers, Grit sells directly to customers without dealer markups. The Link 148 is their flagship build, based on the Ford Transit AWD platform with a 148-inch wheelbase. Key features include a north-south queen-plus bed (6’6″ length), full indoor/outdoor shower, 6’3″ standing height throughout, and TIG-welded aluminum infrastructure rather than traditional wood construction.

At the 2026 Seattle RV Show, visitors can walk through a complete Link 148 build, speak directly with the people who design and construct these vans, and schedule factory tours at the Washougal facility. The Link 148 S2 starts at $169,950 and the S4 (with pop-top) starts at $177,950. Build time is typically 6-8 weeks from order.
